As a Master Instructor with over 11 years experience teaching ChiRunning, Hazel Wood will teach you how to run with more ease and energy and prevent injury and give you lots of tips so that you can improve and enjoy your running more. You'll enjoy a rich learning experience, get lots of personal attention and have fun. This class is for anyone - beginners who want to start off “right”, seasoned runners who want to increase distance or speed, triathletes looking to improve the run portion, or if you’re just tired of being injured. The workshop meets indoors on the 5th Floor in the back of the store at Sports Basement. It will be held both indoors and outdoors so please check the weather forecast and dress accordingly. Bring water and any snacks you may need. Video gait analysis is included. You will also receive a comprehensive set of materials to assist you with continued learning and practice. Workshop Description

You will get lots of personal attention and enjoy a rich learning experience packed with good information to help you run injury-free for the rest of your life.

The Chi Running Essentials workshop includes several hours of instruction in a single 1/2 day course. The Instructor will be guiding you through many exercises and drills designed to leave you with a clear sense of what the Chi Running technique feels like in your body. We will not be doing lots of running (contrary to what you might imagine), so no matter what condition you are in, have no fear. We will spend time alternating between demonstrations, fun exercises and technique drills ... the nature of the day will be relaxed, full and inspiring.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancel 14 days before the workshop and you will be refunded your registration payment minus a $35 processing fee, or you can use the registration payment for a future workshop purchased with Chi Living, Inc. within one year with no penalty. If you cancel within 14 days of the workshop, you will not receive a refund, but the fee can be credited towards a future workshop purchased with Chi Living, Inc. within one year. If you cannot attend and do not call the Instructor and/or Chi Living, Inc. within two days of the workshop, you will forfeit your full payment. The Instructor reserves the right to cancel/reschedule the workshop. Please note, all refunds made 60 days after the date of purchase will be refunded via check.
